"Professors, please find a clearer text than this!!!" 2008-02-11
By Clarissa David
I'm a college graduate planning on going to Grad School in the next year or so. I've also spent some years in the military, so I would assume that I have some knowledge in what makes a book good/bad in terms of explaining what it's supposed to teach.

This textbook is horrible and I feel sorry for any freshman/sophomore/AP Economics student out there who is required to use this book for their economics class. The explanations and examples in this book are either vague or aren't explained very well. There are times when I'll spend an hour on a concept because its explanations are poorly written.

If you are part of the unlucky group who has to use this for text, get ready to do some intense reading just to understand what the authors are talking about. I can't wait for this quarter to be over. On the bright side, it comes with a workbook that does a pretty good job of preparing you for the tests as long as the teacher uses the questions from the manual that they use.

Back to studying!

I made sure to check and make sure this was the correct book. The text is correct, but I received the teaching edition!! It sais it was new, but it has definitely been used. Not impressed with seller....should indicate which edition of book more clearly.
